User Mappings

Hello:

I have deployed a J2EE application to the Netweaver. Created an IView and it works fine. Now want to add UserMapping so that the user who is logging into the SAP portal can be mapped to the user for the application deployed.

it will be very helpful if someone points me how to define a system and add user mapping to the system.

Hi Ravi,

Go to System landscape and select the component like R/3 or BW you need. right click on it and create IVIEW.

User mapping, select the user you want to map in UME. You have option called USER MAPPING to MAP requested user to MAP existing user.
