CO09 availablity overview what is the function of Confirmed field

Please give me idea CO09 Availability overview screen Confirmed qty field what is the purpose on what basis qty will show there.

Means Planned quantity on the time axis that results from comparing receipts,

issues, and current warehouse stock.

this is the quantity confirmed as deliverable in the sales order schedule line.

The confirmation depends on how ATP rules: it can be based on stock, production order, purchase order...

From CO09 you can un-assign confirmed quantity from a sales order and give it to another one.
