Error in extraction using mdmgx trx via ftp

Hi,

I am using <b>mdmgx</b> trx for extraction in XI 7.0 Server.

When i try to start extraction via ftp in mdmgx trx, it shows me error:

"User <username> has no access authorization for computer <IP address>"

The SAP user has SAP_ALL auth. And i can also locally ftp my MDM server successfully. I checked RFC dest SAPFTP and SAPFTPA, both are working fine. Also, when i execute prgm RSFTP002, i can successfully FTP my MDM Server.

Pls help.

Hi Chintan ,

Please check the user you are using to actually transfer data across the systems in tcode SU01, also check if the user has the required authorisations in both the systems.

Hi Anita,

I am using mdmgx trx to extract data from MDM Server. In this trx i use 'administrator' user to ftp the required data from MDM Server.

The SAP user has SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW auth. I tried to ftp with same user from my local machine and server, its successful.

Hi Chintan ,

Pls clarify these points :

MDMGX tcode is to be run in thr SAP R/3 system (you have mentioned that you trying to get data from MDM server ?).

Are you integrating the R/3 and MDM using XI ? If so in the XI system (tcode SU01) check if your administrator user has required authorisations.
