Unicode conversion thru sapinst

Hi All,

We are doing Combine upgrade and unicode conversion from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 , in the unicode conversion we have export the databse using sapinst tool and import the export file using import process.

During the import process we have selected target system-> central instalance and we have done the import. Is it enough or we have to do Databse instance installation using sapinst.

Now the status of the system is up and unicode enabled and when we check the instance profile there are no parameters which are there previous.

Are we on the right track or any thing missing .... please suggest.

some where in the process you need to replace the kernel and EXE to unicode vertion. this is after exporting and before import

Thanks for reply, We have done that in import process it asks for unicode kernal dvd .

Is it necessary to install DB instance after the CI instance for unicoce conversion?
