Hi,
I am creating the BOM for my project. I want the Header Item and, the subitems are the spares parts required for the header Item(Spare parts are the one that are required for the annual maintainenece of header item). Now in the sales order
whenever i enter the header item the spare parts should come as subitem . Here the additional requirements are
1. Billing and delivery should happen at header level
2. Only delivery should happen to subitems(Billing should not be there for subitems).
what are the configuration settings that should i do?
Thanks
k
wht ever u call the item cat or wht ever u call the sub item cat do the settings as below whcih meets ur req.
ok ,,,, if ur maintain item cat group as ERLA it determines TAQ which is rel for pricin ok
and del also ...
now taq determines tap....whcih is mere a dumm item ...ok
ok
detail config
header material item cat grp in mmr sales org 2 ERLA
CS01 - plant usage 5 main item / inside give sub items and qty save it
then maitian stock and pricing for main item only ok.
and as usal in vov4 it shld b ther chek once
OR ERLA - - TAQ
OR NORM TAQ - TAN.

In header(Higher level) item, change the item category group to ERLA, then system will take pricing of Higher level item only. Lower level item(sub item) will act as a text item.
Crreate your BOM in CS01.
