y ur doing PGI in third paarty

there are two scenarios in third party

CASE 1

customer order the goods----

VA01 -- along with a purchase req is created

w r to purcahse req a purchase order is created----

ME21N

vendor deliver goods to customer ( because we created a PO wrt to an order it has shipto party details and also here u can make a setting in ur vendor master record and your PO that MIRO i.e invoice receit without MIGO )

next is your MIRO

next is billing to customer i.e vf01 wrf to sales order.

CASE 2

customer orders the gooods VA01

ME21 w r f to pur req

then here we are reciving the goods means udating our storage location at a plant

so MIGO .

then you are sending the delivery from that storage location VL01n, vl02n. pgi ( here you will do pgi )

then your miro and vf01.

clear.

Hi Kiran,

Case 2 which you have specified is an Individual Purchase Order scenario and not a Third Party Scenario. Incase of third party process we do not receive goods to our location. Correct me if I'm wrong.

yes ofcourse it is individual purchase order scenario

but dnt allied it from third party ......even its a part of third party ok

many companies prefer the second way bcoz........

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, see the wld promise the goods to be deliverd free to the customer

now vendor delivers the goods to company or if he delivers it to customer he wld ask for aditional freight

so for many reasons or for excalty capturing the cost of transpotation they maintain the dummy storage location and trasfer goods from ther to customer making this indiviual purcahse order scnario active.

hope i clerad u.

Hi Rahul,

We do not do a PGI in a third party scenario.
