Is there a monitor in "SAP CCMS Monitor Templates" that will monitor the statud of the app server?

I already saw that.

I was looking for a monitor that will tell if the application server is up/down. Or if it can be seen in SM51?

you can check if your application servers are up or down.. using SMLG

We have RZ20 setup to send emails.

Can we monitor SMLG in RZ20 for the app server being up or down?

Hello William,

You can monitor all App server related alerts in RZ20.

For Example if you are looking for SMLG message you can find it under Application server->R3 Services->Dialogue->LogonLoadQuality and LogonLoadMessage.

LogonLoadQaulity will give the quality of load balancing and LogonLoadMessage will show which server is being used.

I would request you to dig down into each metrics in RZ20 you will understand each metrics of RZ20. All metrics will give you some values in real time based on thresholds the status will be red, amber or green.

Hello William,

Are you getting any error in monitoring from RZ20.

If yes , then these notes might help you out !!
