Hi venkat
Please follow this blog, Here instead of the RFC use SOAP receiver. You can get many free web services to test out your scenario from the site

/people/arpit.seth/blog/2005/06/27/rfc-scenario-using-bpm--starter-kit - refer that blog and use the SOAP adapter and the WS instead of the RFC part.

Hi Venkat,
A Web service is a software system designed to support interoperable Machine to Machine interaction over a network. Web services are frequently just Web APIs that can be accessed over a network, such as the Internet, and executed on a remote system hosting the requested services. In common usage Web Service refers to clients and servers that communicate using XML messages that follow the SOAP standard. Common in both the field and the terminology is the assumption that there is also a machine readable description of the operations supported by the server.
Description in the Web Services Description Language (WSDL).
