Hi sap gurus,

1.Difference between billing and invoice?

2.What is the use of condition type in pricing procedure determination?

3.Is it possible to have different pricing procedure for sales order and invoice?

4.If the Interviewer asks, " How many user exists have you developed in your current project? Name at least 10 user exists you have developed and used in your current project".

Since im not a real time person, plz explain in detail , and in brief.

Hi Rajesh,

1) There is no difference between the two. They can/are used interchangably.

2) I guess your are talking about the condition type in OVKK screen. The condition type that you enter here would be seen, with its value, in the line item level of the order document without having to double click and going to the condition tab page. Just scroll to the right side of the screen in the order document you would get the field. You can give the condition type that would have to be seen regularly and to make it comfortable for the user we enter the condition type iN OVKK. It could be any condition type not necessarily PR00.

3) Yes it is possible. The pricing procedure is determined by Sales Area + Doc.Pric Proc + Cust Pric Proc. Incase your Order document type and billing document type differ then two different pricing procedure would be determined.

billing is internal doc to record the buiness process and invoice is out put from the billing doc

condition type represent actual pricing behavior in real business scenerio.

1i.e price of material, discount , taxed, freights

in pric proceure we maintaine in sequence, which system should read these c.Types

1.Billing represents the final processing stage for a business transaction in Sales and Distribution. Information on billing is available at every stage of order processing and delivery processing.

A sales document used to bill a customer for a goods delivery or a service.

Both are same but different terminlogy

2.A condition type is a representation in the system of some aspect of your daily pricing activities. For example, you can define a different condition type for each kind of price, discount or surcharge that occurs in your business transactions.
