Hi SAP Prof,

1. Is it possible to do delivery without shipping point?

How can we process out bound deliveries without shipping point?

2. Without delivery can you do billing?

3. What are the time bound deliveries?

for shipping activities shipping point is highest org element.witout shipping point del is not possible

2. ex. credit memo w.r.t return order or credit memo request

service contract,rental contract, proforma invoice

3.to prepare del, lowest del date is mat av date or transportation lead date which ever is earlier. max date is nothing i.e till customer fires

Shipping points in SD represent an independent organizational unit that are linked to a plant. Shipping points show the point of departure or receipt of materials. In SAP, a plant may have many shipping points. However, delivery is created from one shipping point only. The shipping point is the basic requirement for a delivery to happen in SAP SD. No delivery can be made without a shipping point. The shipping point is determined by the system based on the shipping conditions

Where as In the third party order processing we can delivery the goods without shipping point. in this process the vendor deliver the goods to the customer so, we should not mention the shipping point in the delivery. we will create the invoice with reference to

the sales order. its an order related invoice
