ECM from CDESK

Hello All,

Somehow when I am creating and trying to assign a ECR to a document type from CAD DESK, it displays a message 'that the ECR cannot be assigned to the document,

whereas if I go through CC32 I can assign the document to ECR.

Could someone kindly inform me if I am missing any config on CAD DESK side to work with ECR/ECO and assign the same to DIR.

Hi Sachin,

Go to TCode DC10 and select the Document Type and select Define Object Links

add new Object AENR (ECM) i.e. Scrn # 218.

then Try again.

One more question: some how when I create a ECR from within CAD DESK, and save it the connection with SAP -CAD breaks. ECR is created though. Then if I reconnect and plug in ECR number created and edit it through CDESK, no problem at all, I can convert ECR --ECO, edit objects, release ECO ....

Any clue as to how I can avoid getting connection broken.
