Deletion of processed XML messages - Messages still there

Former Member

Hi @all,

today I have successfully ran a deletion job for processed XML messages. Before that I set the parameter "persist duration", category "deletion", subparamjeter "async" to 60 days. (By the way: Why is this step not mentioned in SAP Help about Archiving / deletion??)

But now I still see processed XML messages (async) with payload in XML monitor older than 60 days. They have the flag "del". Why have they not been deleted?

The Processing statistic says about 10000 of 15000 processed XML messages have been deleted.

Thanks,

CHRIS

Hi

Also thanks for that, but I already know these guides. As I mentioned, there have been about 10000 of 15000 processed XML messages deleted as it should be. But now I wonder what about the other 5000? There are still many old async messages which have the flag "DEL", which are older than 60 days. Why have they not been deleted?

Hi,

thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, that's not what I am looking for. My concern is not about backup, but deletion of processed XML messages.
