Clearing Messages from Messaging System queues

Hi,

We want to clear out messages stuck in Messaging System queues ready to be sent to the target system. These messages got stuck there since we had to shutdown the XI box for emergency purpose.

Now... if we wait till RWB comes up, then we might end up sending some messages to target system.

Is there a way to clear out Messages in the Messaging System, even before Java engine comesup..

Is the message stuck in the Adapter Engine or in SMQ2?

You can disable the Automatic Restart by setting the parameters as shown in this blog by Naveen and then once the XI comes up you can cancel these messages.

Messages are in Adapter Engine...!! So... Is there any way that we can clearout those messages from the queues..!!
