Hello,
I just used JSPM and updgraded to SP12 level.
My question :
SAP recommendation is to have the ABAP and JAVA stack
at the same level.
How can know my ABAP stack level is same as JAVA stack level ?
Please advise.
From,
PT.
Hi Pranav
JSPM is the tool to patch the J2EE. SPAM is the tool to patch ABAP. You should use <a href="https://service.sap.com/sp-stacks">https://service.sap.com/sp-stacks</a> to identify and download the abap packages for your stack.
You then use the Transaction SPAM to check your actual versions and to apply the packages, you will probably need a SPAM update first (same download place and apply in SPAM).
Best regards
Michael

<b>My question is how can I varify my current JAVA stack level and ABAP stack level ?</b>
You cannot see the SP stack level, you have to figure it out over the service marketplace. Example: I have an Enterprise Portal which is based on NW2004s. In JSPM i can see that the current level for sap.com/SAP-JEECOR (just as an example) is 9.3. Now goto the service.sap.com/sp-stacks, select NW2004s and choose target stack 9 and view the the stack information. There you see SAP J2EE ENGINE CORE 7.00 is in fact SP009. You should cross check with another package, the SAP kernel or the SAP BASIS for example.
Best regards
Michael
