Hello,
I'm using sapinfo to test if my sap servers are alive.
Some of them returns "User is locked. Please notify the person responsible".
After some digging, I see that sapinfo actually needs a user to connect to sap and by default it uses SAPCPIC? Is that correct?
Thank you.
Hello,
Yes I think te user hardcoded in sapinfo is SAPCPIC.
Regards,
Olivier

Hello,
thank you, my problem is solved.
sapinfo uses SAPCPIC by default, but you can specify your own username, password and client. Also, authorization doesn't have to pass and sapinfo will still work (it will be able to call function module RFC_SYSTEM_INFO) if you set auth\rfc_authority_check to 1 or 2 instead of 9 for group SRFC.
Thanks!

Hi,
sapinfo is an RFC client which means that you need to authenticate first.
I believe it's correct.
