differentiate SAP XI from BC ?

HI,

How can we differentiate SAP XI from Business Connector (BC)?

SAP BC is a webmethods proprietary tool. SAP had an agreement to promote it. But after 2003, SAP has discontinued the support for SAP BC.

Now, SAP recommends SAP XI as its integration solution.

SAP BC was generally used when SAP was at one end. BC had a problem bcoz there was an extensive use of BC proprietary Java classes.
