Rebate & Rebate kind

Hi to all !

how do we configure rebate and rebate in kind in SAP pricing.....as follows

Rebate

customer buys 20 pieces @10$ with 5% discount say is 190$ and get 20 pieces

Rebate in Kind

20 pieces @10$ with out paying 10% discount say 200$ gets 22 pieces (10+1)

how do we configure these 2 scenarios in pricing in SAP

Please can you clarify this for me.

From your two scnarios

scenario1 : it is just a disount to the customer.

scenario2 :It is free goods issue.

why you are callin them as a Rebate? I didn't understand.

This is the terminology of the legacy.....my client calls it as rebate & rebate in kind

so, we can configure the first scenario i.e the customer discount.

the above scenario is possible in free goods

For Rebate it is not possible because i have show the 5% discount of the customer.

For Rebate in kind it is possible because i don't need to specify the 10% as it is technically not paying.

can anybody tell how to go with the first scenario i.e rebates..........
