its the endusers who maintain number ranges. But there is a possibility that we would have configured a customized number series for them may be using some user exit.

But pl do let me know at which stage are you referring to. In the sense during an implementation obviously its module consultants who track what they are assigning or configuring.

As part of any implementation, the number ranges for the individual modules are maintained by the respective consultants. If the activity is done in common, then the objects from all modules are identified and one person whether SD/FI will go ahead and maintain it. To avoid any hassles most of the times, maintained by respective module consultants in implementation.
