Backup & Restore using Windows Backup

Hi,

We are trying to use Windows Backup utility to backup our ECC 6.0 on Oracle.

I need a few clarifications on this:

1. Shutdown SAP and Oracle and stop all relevant services.

2. We are taking backup of oracle and /usr/sap folders separately using the backup utility

3. After one week, we are moving the current /oracle and /usr/sap to some location and restored the previous backups to the original location.

Is this process correct? Will Oracle and SAP come up after restore?

Please let me know of your opinions.

It should work, but I would also backup the windows directory to be safe. I know from experience if you restore, the DB, the usr directory, and the windows directory it works.
