What to do to move into XI World?

Dear Folks,

I am an ABAPer (2+ Years exp)and Recently I learned XI .I am in the start of XI Journey .

What are the Key areas that would be stressed at the interviews and in the real time also?

What are the areas that we must concentrate more on?

What will be the scope of an ABAPer in XI world?

where will be the best opportunites grabbed for XI?(I mean cities)

I am looking forward for your replies dudes!

Hi,

In addition to Raju's posting, I advise you to learn basic java and also go thru the concepts of XML, DTD etc.

Dear Kranthi Kumar,

Welcome to XI .If you have Exp. in ABAP then you are very close to your destiny.

1) You have to give more imp for ABAP Proxies ,IDOC as your background is ABAP.

2)BPM ,Patterns concentrate on these more.

3)Right now oppurtunities are there ,but mostly for exp.

So first gain some exp. by working on some basic interfaces.
