BRARCHIVE stopped working

Hi,

Brarchive service has stopped working at the time of performing Database reorganization. so we were manually moving the archived files from /oracle/SID/saparch.

<b>Could you please tell me why the brarchive service has stopped while working on table reorganization activity.</b>

Without any more information about operating system and much more important - logfiles, one can just guess what happend. Unfortunately crystal spheres are not invented yet...

perhaps your archive directory was at 100%, if this is the case, brarchive may not be able to write its own log as it may be trying to use the same directory. brarchive will stop if it cannot write to the saparch directory.
