IGS program not registered

Hi,

We have done the system copy of bi sever with new sid

Now the problem is RFC Abap connection working fine but TCP/IP is not working,

It gives an error PROGRAM NOT REGISTERED but i can see the program registered in SMGW.

Later i found that the IGS is not up, in MMC its running, but when i run the report

GRAPHICS_IGS_ADMIN it says Could not reach IGS.

Please advice.

Did you adjust the programm id in SM59 from IGS.<old SID> to IGS.<new SID>?

Hi,

igs.xml is only used for the IGS 6.40.

Note 917255 lists the changes of IGS 7.00, e.g. that all parameters are read from the systems profile instead (see also note 844669 containing all the details).

I found one note 1080851, which discuss the same issue,

and the solution is to apply kernel 123 patch, which is checked in market place and could not find,

Hi SM,

If you can't locate kernel 123 go with the next patch level available... corrections are acumulative so the next patch available will include changes in patch 123.

my kernel patch showing version 120.

Check your igs.xml:

Check igs.xml file for entry:

<LISTENERRFC programid="IGS.<SID or hostname>"

and maintain the programid as yor new SID.

but i am using igs 7, and could not find igs.xml file in

\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS01\igs\conf.

Not sure abt the version difference. Check your SOURCE system for the igs.xml file. If you find one...copy the same and adapt the changes.

Hello

The config files must be existing on /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS**/igs/conf gfwchart.tpl (note 596825) and xmlchart.tpl (note 531668)

Kindly go through those notes.

but these are Fonts relevant files,
