User exit to alter contactpartner list

Hi Gurus,

I have a problem here. I created a contract using BAPI 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA'. I have not supplied contact person field to the BAPI.However when i select the contract and have its overview I find that after creation of the contract, SAP has chosen the first contact person maintained in the client master data.However I wish to prevent SAP from adding the coontact person without me supplying it.

How can this be done ?? Is there a user-exit or some alternative method ??

if u have maintained two or more in contact person list then before saving systme will throw a pop up and ask for selection but if its only one then sstem will automatically propose it.
