Hi,

use the Management Studio and right click on the database -> Tasks > Back Up. In the next dialog choose 'Backup Type' -> Transaction Log.

But you should make Transaction Log backups in regular intervals, meaning you have to create a maintenance plan. In Management Studio choose Management -> Maintenance Plans. Right click on it and use the "Maintenance Plan Wizard". The rest is pretty self-explanatory.

i m using SAP 4.6c SQL 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advance Server,

Learn how to post on a forum because it is becoming unreadable.

This thread is about transaction log backup on SQL Server and not on ST02 tuning and neither about printing error.
