Hi,
the MaxDB version 7.6.2.10 have the error Bad parameter: limit 29, dest +30, requested 1 bytes.
that is reported at http://www.sapdb.org/webpts?wptsdetail=yes&ErrorType=0&ErrorID=1147804
i'm using the Workaround: Disable hash join by setting database parameter HashJoinSingleTableMemorySize/MAX_SINGLE_HASHTABLE_SIZE to 0
but that slow down many queries and that BUG was solved and delivered at version 7.6.2.11.
because what this version isnt in SDN downloads? there is another place to get that or a patch for version 7.6.2.10? or CVS?
thanks for any help

Hi again Clovis,
we're planning to release newer versions on SDN soon, within the next 4 weeks (still for WIndows / Linux only). Currently, I cannot tell you which exact version it will be, but I can tell you that it will definately be newer than 7.6.02 Build 11.
Regards,
Roland

Hello Clóvis,
you can download a patch for the MaxDB (or even an upgrade) from the following path:
<a href="http://service.sap.com/SWCENTER-3PMAIN">SW-Center 3rd Party</a>
In the left menu click on MaxDB and SAP DB an select your Version.

Hi Michael,
i'm not a SAP customer, just a MaxDB user then i cant have access to SW-Center 3rd Party link, with that i dont have any way to get this patch, that cause me to worry if i'm with the right version, (maybe that from mySQL but i prefer from SAP), the problem is that i put this version in production, maybe in future the MaxDB SAP developers can put all files related to MaxDB on SDN.
best regards.
Clóvis
