SMDIAG_WIZARD

HI All,

I are in the process of setting up SMD for Java systems(EP). When i am in the Transaction SMDIAG_WIZARD 2nd step "Specify solutions to be monitored" after selecting a solution i could not see the "server" details and the "instalallation path",

Please let me know how to solve this. All the details in SMSY and DSWP are upto-date as of my knowledge.

If there are any documents please let me know.

Hi,

This transaction has to be used only until SP11 included. Starting from SMD SP12 this is no more used. To get documentation about SMD Setup, please connect to http://service.sap.com/diagnostics > Installation Guides > Release 4.0 > Diagnostics Setup Guide as of <your_SP>.

I had the same problem for the installation_path,

The solution is to use the path /usr/sap/SMD path

Hi,

While configuring EWA for Java system, I am able to run all the tasks in the "scheduler", but could not find EWA reports in DSWP.

I am able to see the reports manually by downloading the service XML file and uploading in the T-code DSA. But i want them automatically to be generated.
