WBS description in cost assignment not shown

When creating a shopping cart and selecting a WBS element as the cost assignment, the description of the WBS is not shown on the screen in the cart.

Any ideas on this one?

Looked at that note and I don't think it'll help.

I'll ask BASIS to look at it for me though.

Also, look at this OSS note 857326. However, we have an open issue where we use orders as in some of our cost assignments and the short description does not show. I sent a message through OSS and after a few exchanges, this was SAP's final answer...

For your information:

- Order category 01-03 are internal orders whereas order category

10/30 are pure Plant Maintenance and Production orders.

This is also visible in f4-help of /KS02, field: Order Type.

- Latter order types aren't offered in external procurement processes,

just internal orders can be posted as additional accounting CO

objects for external procurement. System works as designed in this

point.

However, SAP forgets that R/3 will allow you to assign an order as a cost assignment for requisitions and purchase orders. You can externally procure for a Plant Maintenance Order.

Just my 2 cents before you found that out and go through the same mess as I did.
