can you give an idea abt difference between BPM and ccBPM?
Both could be considered as same.
BPM is widely used term and even ppl not related to XI knows this term as this is widely accepted and used.
ccBPm is cross componenet BPM which is generally used when we r referring BPM of XI.

Hi Gabriel
BPM- Business Process Management- in XI BPM and ccBPM interchangeably used. for more on BPM- as an SAP standpoint or Business Process level - -/people/thomas.volmering/blog/2005/09/21/welcome-to-the-new-bpm-corner
ccBPM- Cross Component BPM -

ccBPM is the built-in BPM solution of SAP XI. So BPM is a generic discipline dealing with process orchestration, wheras ccBPM is a solution providing this kind of functionality.
BPM i.e. Business Process Managament is a general concept which indicates the design of complex integration scenario.
ccBPM i.e. Cross-Component BPM is the term used to signify little wider sense where integration extend across enterprise and application boundaries.

II. What i need and necessity to create Message Tye from Data Type?
>>>None.. Once you create a Data type, then you can directly create a message type.
Data Type is a unit of message whereas message type is wrapper for your data type. I.e Message type comprises the data types. SO message type is a root of xml message strcuture

One more thing. I heard SAP ppl always referring the ccBPM as "executable BPM" to differentiate it from the general term BPM.

BPM and ccBPM when referred in XI is the same thing
in terms of XI we use both names for the same for integration process in XI
ccBPM is SAP's implementation of BPM concept (under the WS-BPEL standards) and it's delivered inside SAP XI product box.

Log on to your IR , go to SWCV SAP BASIS and then the namespace Patterns and you can see various patterns that can be used using a BPM. Combine these patterns with the examples explained in the this link and BPM's will be relatively easier,
