i am trying to create a quantity contract.....in va41 I have entered the details but when i create a sales order exceeding the limit prescribed in VA41 it doesnt give me any mess........

do i need to create customer materail num for the same I havent done tat

I think we need to use some userexit for the same...for not exceeding the quantity over contract quantity...

i think the copy control settings are just fine document flow is X..........

Hi Maddy,

Maintain copyconbtrols for documents from Quotation to Sales order in VTAA.

GO to ur relevant sales document types...select the item category , in the item data....check the update document flow field.

I have also posted the same querry earlier but i think the system willl allow to exceed the qnty for the first time..but the second time when we are creating release order wrt the same contract system will give error message..(for the first time itself system gives a warning message...no config in OVAH)

In configuration i didnt find any thing to get the error message...

So Gurus plz comment on this
