copying a smartform

Hi guru's,

I am new to smartforms.

I am having a small problem.I am trying to copy PYXXFO_SAP_TIM_99_0002 smartform and make minor changes to it.I am able to copy the form and make the changes but when it is activated and tried to display it in ESS it is saying the zform does not exist.

I want to know is there anything to do other than copying it .Is there any other settings we have to make or copy other than the form.

Please reply soon points will be rewarded.

open the smartfrom and check wheather you have activated all the copied objects or not.

Hi,

This is the solution.

Goto smartforms tcode.Take ur standard smartform. U have an icon for copying. Click it and copy to Ztype. Go to the same in change mode. Do the changes. Save and activate it. Return to smartform main screen. Here also, activate it. A function module will be generated, copy it and paste this in the driver program u are calling. It will definitely work.

Hi ,

execute tcode smartforms .

Give the form name to be copied .

From menu bar:

Select smartfroms->copy

Give the target form name .

Save it .

Hi Leela,

Did u attach Zsmartform to Driver program??

AND...

See the versions of both Actual and copied versions are same or not..Coz,Some forms r not existing in ECC5.0 which r existing in 4.6 or 4.7 i think this is may be the issue
