Free Goods

HI,

I am trying to create free goods record in VBN1, my system is not allowing me to create 1:1 scenario, that is for 1 pc of material A, give 1 pc of Material B as free. It is giving me the error: the additional quantity is greater than or equals 1. How to fix this problem. Thanks.

In inclusive method (same material as free good):

To give 1:1 free goods (buy one get one free), Material A 2, 2, Pc, 1, Pc (1 item A+ 1 item A as free good)

To give 1:4 (buy one get 4 free), Material A 5, 5, Pc, 4, Pc (1 item A + 4 items A free)

In Exclusive method (different material as free good):

To give 1:1 free goods (buy one get one free), Material A 1, 1, Pc, 1, Pc Material B

To give 1:4 (buy one get 4 free), Material A 1, 1, Pc, 4, Pc, Material B

i guess u got it wrong ......

u can never give material A free for material B in inclusive

it shpuld be exclusive in whcih u can give a different material as a free material but u cannot in inclusive.

just abn1 ur free goods cond type then press enter

before entering anything top left hand side there is this exclusive button click on tht

now enter ur data

mat A 1 1 ea 1 ea 1 2 matb

it shld wrk fine ...

for inclusive u cnt give 1:1.....

In the T.code: VBN1 in the top LHS you will have <b>Exclusive</b> click on it, then maintain. Only in Exclusive 1:1 is supported.
