How to write vertical text

Hi Gurus

Im working on a smartform and the line type of the table has some 30 fields and need to write the veritcal text ( from top to Bottom ),

please let me know how to write a vertical text in text field.

One way you could use if the text is just headings that do not change.

Construct the required text in an outside paint package and save as a bitmap that you then include at the relevant point in your form.

Not a pretty solution, but should work OK.

will not work if you have to print values in this way.

Hi Rajnesh,

One way is that you will make the column width as thin so that only one character can be displayed in that than it will automatically come in the vertical format .

or you can also do that in your text element display each single character in one line

like

name as

n

a

m

e

So it will come in the vertical format itself

but i just want my text to be turned at 90 deg.

the client want it like that only

If the fields are high enough to show the words in vertical mode and at same time they are thin enough to show only 1 character then words are directly shown on vertical format without any additional work.

They are not realy on vertial mode but they are shown as it, so I think it can work for you. I don't know other way.
