transfer a xml file to the database entirely

Hello all ..........

i have got a task ..its someting like this..

Suppose we have got a XML file and this file is to be tranfered to a database record entirely...mean when ever the information is fetched from that record we should geta XML file back.....

pls help me in solving this..

your efforts will be greatly appreciated.

Which database r u using?

I dont think u can directly insert a file into database. However, if the receiver system is SAP, then there are ways to do so.
