ORA-16224: Database Guard is enabled

Hello,

We have problem while loggin to the system with user other than sap*.

( SAP* can log in to the client 000 only).

<b>Error: license check failed.</b>

Now we logged with sap* in client 000.

system--->status shows license is valid till 31.12.9999

work process log says:

Can not update license into database

ORA-16224: Database Guard is enabled

I tried to disable guard with

alter session disable guard; but it did not solve the problem.

Can somebody help.Thanks

source database and shadow database MUST have exactly the same software versions installed (including patchsets and minitpatches).

Hello,

Oracle soft. version: 10.2.01

Oracle Database verison from dba_registry is 10.2.0.2

Is this mismtch causing the problem?Thanks
