Large Table Export ( Ugrent Please )

Hello,

we make the GLPCA table passive and the system doesn't make any registration to this table any more.

The number of record in this table is 50.230.000. I want to back up this table and delete all the datas in the table which is in in the system.

Which is more suitable: to archive or to export the table from database then delete the datas?

back up:

when I archive , the system will also back up all the things in GLPCA table. I don't want this.

Exporting from database

does exporting from database ( SQL Enterprise Manager ) after backing up and deleting the datas make any problem?

Windows Server2003 x64 - MS SQL Server 2000 - SAP ECC 5.0

Hello Ismail,

Before you execute any action, check the latest backup was successful.

You can then export the entire table GLPCA using SAP tool <b>R3Trans</b>

(make sure you have enough disk space to store the exported table).

You can then go ahead with your actions
