Product selection uses material determination functions to automatically propose a variety of substitute products based on your requirements, customer requirements, and product availability.

Features

When you enter a material in a sales order, the system checks whether you have set up product selection for this material. If so, it creates a list of possible alternatives, checking each to determine current stock availability, and whether the customer would accept it based on the product attributes.

For each valid substitute that if finds, the system creates a sub-item.

Hi,

1. In case of product selection the system searches if there are substitute materials for the item for which sales order is being created. The system uses the condition technique to determine the material determination/substitution. There can be reasons for the determination.

Hi Rajesh,

material lsiting-

While creating a sales order, if customer orders frequently the same materials, these materials are listed from large number of products for the customers.

Material Excusion - Customer does not need for selecting certain products from the list of products. when a material is entered in sales order, ystem checks for the material excusion & material listing.
