Hi
Due to a requirement, we have been recommended by OSS note to create a function module in SE37. As a BASIS , I have registered the objects and obtained the access keys.
But, when the function module was created, SAP is prompting for access key. When we input the registered key, it says incorrect entry!
I have cross checked all the requirements like ,
Prg ID, Type, Object name, installation every thing is correct but still the key fails...
Am I missing anything here?
regards,
Vinodh.
Hi Vinodh,
Sometimes it could be the registration problem from SAP's end aswell. Raise a request to SAP for verifying the same else reregister the same.

Hello Vinodh,
It will be asking you for developer access key and not object access key. Just try this thing.Goto SE38 and try to create a Z report. I guess it will ask you for an access key. I think you may not have developer access key for your user id (may be coz ur basis guy).

Hi Vinod,
Please verify you had selected system to register object key.
The steps you had taken are correct.
Cross-check everything once again.
And don't forget to verify the system.

Hi Payal,
THanks for your time and reply.
Please clarify your statement as I am not clear with that,
<u>Please verify you had selected system to register object key</u> but during object key registration we will be selecting only the installation number..am I right? correct me if I am wrong....
Also pls clarify the statement <u>And don't forget to verify the system</u>
best regards,
Vinodh.
Hi Vinod,
You can register object by selecting installation number.
And then you have to enter Basis Release.
But i suggest you go for Ruchit's reply.
I think it must be asking for developer key for basis ID.
because generally we don't register basis id as developer in service marketplace.
Try to do the same thing with ABAPER's ID.

Hi Guys,
I am not trying to create the function module..my ABAPers are trying from their IDs but the access key is not accepting...even we tried by giving our developer access key...but failed
Let me ask you whether I have registered the object with correct prog id or not,
In the OSS note 1077695 correction, they have listed the object with 2 categories,
Object Description
Program ID : <u>LIMU</u> Object Type : <u>FUNC</u>
Object Name :<u>ANLBZW_READ_ASSET </u>
TADIR Entry
Program ID :<u>R3TR</u> Object Type :<u>FUGR</u> Object Name :<u>ANA9</u>
I have registered as
Basis release : 46C
Program ID :<u>R3TR</u>
Type :<u>FUGR</u>
object name :<u>ANLBZW_READ_ASSET </u>
we are trying to create a function module ANLBZW_READ_ASSET in SE37...
Am I making any mistake anywhere?
regards,
Vinodh
Hi Vinod,
U mentioned:
I have registered as
Basis release : 46C
Program ID :R3TR
Type :FUGR
object name :ANLBZW_READ_ASSET
But the this object has program ID LIMU as per ur desc.
Please register once again as:
Basis release : 46C
Program ID :LIMU
Type :FUGR
object name :ANLBZW_READ_ASSET

Hi
Yes..I am getting that screen with 46C...R3TR..FUGR ...Installation number....and Access key.... I have registered with the correct attributes....
Don`t know why its not working...anyways, SAP has replied back to login to our system and check...will let you know the reason for the same.
regards,
VInodh.
