Hi,
I am trying to read two fields and concatenate into one but not able to do so in ABAP mapping...can any one please help me ?
The how to guide I refer was showing like this
incode = idocument->get_element_by_tag_name( ' fname' ).
outcode = incode->get_item ( index 0 ).
I am trying to do like this..
incode = idocument->get_element_by_tag_name( ' fname' ).
incode = idocument->get_element_by_tag_name( ' lname' ).
outcode = incode->get_item ( index 0 ).
outcode = incode->get_item ( index 1 ).
how to get those fields 'fname' and 'lname' into string variable to concatenate ?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Mahesh.

hi,
You Can use directly as
incode1 = idocument->get_element_by_tag_name( ' fname' ).
incode2 = idocument->get_element_by_tag_name( ' lname' ).
you can directly use these variables as string.
