IGS problem (java)

Former Member

Hello all,

We installed an NW04s 64x Server (java stack only).

The installation process ended successfully and the IGS is green and is running on the MMC.

I want to use business graphic object in WD. I noticed that the path http://<server>:40080/ return “The page cannot be displayed”.

I configured the IGS URL in the Visual Admin Tool under: configurations -> webdynpro -> sap.com -> tcwddispwda -> Propertysheet default with value: http://<server>:40080/ (as described on “IGS Configuration in Visual Administrator.pdf”) and restarted the engine but still I receive the same error.

Any help will be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Yoel.

Hi ..

whether u gave igsURL or not..

You jus give the path http://<server>:40080 in your IE.. and see wat is the page u r getting. If u r getting a page with the details like.. Version, build date, system path... etc. If it displays then your igsURL is correct one. If not, then check with your admin..

Thanks and regards

if your IGS version is 7.00. the file igs.xml only exists in IGS 6.40. The IGS configuration is in the instance profile with IGS 7.00. When your instance number is 00 the default HTTP listener port of the IGS is 40080.

Refer to note 704604 to see how the IgsUrl is maintained. Please check if the value is correct and also try out localhost instead of the hostname.
