Hello friends
We are installing SAP (ECC, Netweaver) etc., in few days with the help of a BASIS consultant. The consultant will be doing all the configuration and because of the cost involved, we want to make sure that we don't lose any of the configuration in future. So what are the things that need to be backedup and which is the best way to do this.
I am not talking about the actual data that will be entered, but the configuration itself.
How easy it is to restore the configuration in case we need to do a disaster recovery?
Any feedback will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Ram
Hi Ram,
You need to backup the DB & the \usr\sap files,
In any case of disaster you will need just them to recover your configuration,
Best Regards,
Guza
