Functional and Technical Specs

Hi all,

I got one Design Document from my client. Now I have to prepare the Spec for this Design Doc.

Can anyone send me the template for functional and technical spec...

Hi Ahamad,

If u are an XI developer u will be getting the Functional Spec that say the functaniolity of the Interface that u need to develope.

U have to prepare the Technical Spec explaining how u are going to design your scenario to attain the functionality specified by the functional people as per the client requirement.

Also the format/template of the technical & functional document is client specific.

you will not do both Functional and Techinical Spec.

if you are Functional consultant you will do technical spec for which you get Techinical spec from Techinical person.

Regarding templates,,Every Client have there own Templates .So no one can send you Such templates as you asked.
