Server for IPC is not runnig

Hi,

We have installed a Demo SRM system and while creating a Shopping cart i received the error that Server for IPC is not running.

Do we have to install IPC? If yes what is the procedure?

Can we bypass the error if we are working on Classic Scneario?

Hi

For classic scenario, activate the std BADI (BBP_PRICEDATA_READ)implementation BBP_PRODUCT_PRICE. Use this BAdI only in connection with SAP Note 539720.

Hi,

IPC is mandatory for standalone and extended classic scenario.

For classic scenario it is optional.
