WD Internationalization - Forcing to use default xlf file

Hello All,

We have a specific requirement where the language is supposed to be in English for MSS user (manager) irrespective of the SAP user language or browser lang.

In case of ESS (Employee), translations are needed.

In the current design both these are using common message pool, so putting translation xlf will result in translations for MSS also in various langauges.

Is there a way i can force the WD application to use the default message pool xlf (X.xlf)in all cases and not take the X_de.xlf, X_fr.xlf etc in MSS mode?

Please suggest asap.

Best Regards,

Dhanz

Dhanz,

There's a property called "Forced Request Language" for Webdynpro iView. Change that to English and irrespective of user language, the app will only be in English.

Lemme know how it goes.
