Hy, when changing properties of an element of a structure (for example number of decimals), settings are not adapted in workbooks which consist of query where structure is used. Using trans. RSRT solves the problem (most of the time), but this is not an efficient way. Why are changes in structures not adapted in workbooks ?
Somtimes it helps if you enter the query designer from the workbook and run the query again from there once changes have been made, rather than just opening and refreshing the workbook.
I've noticed like you that it doesn't always recognise changes have been made otherwise.

Hi Ronald,
Within RSRT the query is executed (without any workbook relationship). After changing the properties of global structure elements the workbook should be either embedded newly in the workbook or use the workboo setting "Return to global definition on refresh"
