Hi,
1. what is difference between the group condition and item condition?
what r the settings we need to do for Group Condition?
2. Can I prevent any manual changes to a condition value in the sales record?
3. Can I specify two source fields for a field within a condition table? why we will do?
You want some conditions to be used as the basis for determining scale values from several items.
You have assigned materials to a material pricing group. You want a quantity-based discount to be assigned to these materials. You want the quantity scale to be read cumulatively with the cumulated quantity of all materials in the sales order that are assigned to this material pricing group:
item condition is like normal PR00 which is applied at each line item level.
If you want to prevent any manual changes to conditin in the sales order, in VOV6 ( conditin type controls) for the field allowed changes > select manual changes not allowed.
thanks

hi kedar,
we can control all in customizing the condition type.
In condition type functionality if u select manual entries has the proiority then uncheck the field 'Value" then it is not possible for u to change the value of that condition type in sales order. If u select 'D' then u cannot change any thing manually during sales order.
if u select the item condition then this conditon can be entered only at item level.
it is not possible for u to enter at header level.
All group conditions are header conditions that means these group conditions can be entered at header level only.
for all group conditions u have to check group conditon and header condition in the condition functionality.
What ever the amount/% u enter at header level in sales order then this amount/% will be proportionately divided and applicable to all items..that means this value will be distributed among all items based on the quantity/%/value.
reward if helpful

If ur condition type marked as"header " as well as "Group condition",
bcoz of this the amount of this condition type is copied into all items,
if its market as "header" condition only,
that amount will be belongs to whole invoice document and the same amount will be distributed into al line items, based on the percentage in total net vale of the document,
eg: Doc net value = 10,000/-
3 line items,
item -A-- 5000/-
Item- B- 3000/-
Item -C-- 2000/-
now Header condition- RA00 - 1000/-
allows to whole document n , distributed in each line item as below:
item-A--500 ( 5000/- is the 50% in Rs 10,000/-)
item-B- 300
item-C- 200
Total - 1000/-
where as Group /header condition, HA00/HB00-- Rs 1000/-
item-A--1000/-
item-B-1000/-
item-C-1000/-
Total -- 3000/-

In customizing we will set a condition type to be a group condition, the condition base value such as weight is then calculated as the sum of individual items with in a group(ex.material pricing group)ex. condition record for k029 is like
from 1kg rs 10
100kg 20
500 kg 30
in sales order for Mat m1 amd m2 belongs to mat group2 and their weight is 50 and 80 kg
then in the record
pricing in like m1 50kg ko29 rs.20
m2 80 kg ko29 rs.20
2.yes, we can set in customizing in master data- manual changes field- we can set whether manual changes allowed or not(ex: condition type:mwst)
3. yes, ex: currency, doc currency or local curency

Hi.
1.Group Condition:
Material Quantity Material group
A 150 01
B 100 01
The group condition indicator is set in the definition of the condition type for material group discounts. The condition record for material group 01 includes the following pricing scale:
Scale quantity Discount
from 1 pc -1%
from 200 pc -2%
Neither item alone qualifies for the 2% discount. However, when the items are combined as part of a group condition, the combined quantity creates a basis of 250 pieces. This basis then exceeds the scale value of 200 pieces, which is necessary to qualify for the higher discount.
2. Item Conditions:
If you Mark this field if the conditions of this type are allowed to be entered in the document items. The condition is then only valid for the particular item in which it is entered.
Reward if it helps

Group Condition IS condition that will be applicable for more then one item in the sales document for that you have to activate field Group Conditionin condition type controls in V/06
Item Condition is applicable for only for pasrtticular item on sales document
you can prevent manul changes by useing the control manual changes nto possibile in condition type controls V/06

1) there is no comaprision between a group condition and item condition ...ok still
group condition - if an order there are 10 items group condition is apllicable to conditions beloging to a particular group ex 5 items belong to one group so all these items atract group condition tht u have maintained.
item condition - is apllicable to tht particular item .
ex of group condition k029 con type
its a group con check the settings of k029 in v/06 grup con is ticked , now how to maintain the group as this is a mat pricing grp .....u can maintain it in mmr sale org 2 mat pricin grp...........now if u have 10 mat in order out of which 5 mmr has this grp and if u maintin con rec for this k029 then this will appy to all 5 items. ( for settings of group cond check v/06 k029 group con ticked)
2) in v/06 selec the con type . in tht con type template check for maual entries...there select a option which prevents manual entry .......ur done

Hi
By creating a single condition record, condition value can be applied to group of materials.
Ex,: K029.
Group Condition:
This indicator specifies that this condition is defined for group of objects.
Ex.: K029
For a group condition to be effective, the items must belong to a group.
You can freely define the group to meet the needs of your own organization.
The items can, for example, all belong to the same material group.
A sales order contains two items. Both items belong to the material group 01.
The group condition indicator is set in the definition of the condition type for material group discounts.
Furtehr Group condition
Indicates whether the system calculates the basis for the scale value from more than one item in the document.
