what are the different ways of triggering a workflow in generic?

And in particularly when an parked invoice(without PO) is saved.

Please check Standard Business Object from Bus2081 and FIPP and BKPF through Tcode SWO1. Now try to save invoice without PO and check in SWEL which event gets Triggered.

Hi Vinay,

Check Transaction SWETYPV -its for Event linkage take the new entry and

give the details regarding your objecttype,event and workflow

I am quite confused as to how to use this transaction 'SWETYPV '.

What is the Receiving Object Type?

What is the Receiving Function Module?

What is the object Type? is this the one on which some action is performed.

Hi Vinay,

The receiver object type is the Workflow that you wish to trigger. The receiving function module would be 'SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF' if you are trying to trigger a workflow at the time of parking. The object type would be 'BUS2081'.
