When do we create 2 Sales Organization?

Can we Sell the materials to the Customers assigned to Different Company Codes?

When saving the following documents what will get update?

Sales Doc, Del Doc and Billing Doc.

hello Farhan,

Sales organizations are created based upon the client's requirment or business requirment. like....north or south...

Customers are created with Company code specific. U can sell the products to customers of differenet compan codes.

When a sales document is created,

1. Availability of material is carried out in background through trnasfer of requirments.

2. proposes to create a delivery doument.

Delivery document,

1. Picking doument is created

2. reduces the qty of materials in the warehouse.

3. Initiates shipping of material.

4. After PGI, goods issue document is generated.

5. After PGI, system proposes to do billing if, items are delivery related.

Billing document,

1. GL accounts are updated in FI

2. Actual revenues are updated in PS

other than above....some other effects are also generated.

Hi,

In order to sell a material to the customer of different company codes,the sales org and distribution channel of that material should be assigned to that company code.

Your sales document type should also belong to the sales area in which your are creating the material master.

You can if you have maintained the customers in the Customer master in XD01 , where you specify the company code. based on which you can do your selling.
