N Joy transaction in BDC

Hii Experts, I would like to know that why shouldnt we use njoy transactions in the BDC to upload the data

Hi..

Bcoz nJOY transcations like ME21N uses the Control Frame work Elements on the Screen which cannot be Mapping using BDCDATA structure.

So SAP has provided the BAPIs to Upload data using these transactions.

BAPI will not enter data to Screens .. directly updates the Data after checking it.

Hi,

1. Bcos such transactions have screens,

which use ActiveX controls (like Grid),

which must be present on the presentation server.

2. If the screen has table control, (table control is application server based control),

then the r/3 program can put the value in it.

3. But not in grid controls.
