Sending .htm attachment via mail

Hi all,

Whenever I send a <b>.doc</b> attachment via mail there is no problem.

But when I send <b>.htm</b> attachment then when I receive the mail the attachment is in form of <b>.txt</b> and the source code of the attached .HTM file is dispalyed on clicking the file.

Please help me out.
