Business system creation

Hi All ,

I have one basic doubt , I am using XI 7.0 to create a technical system of type WebAs ABAP , in the fourth step we have some thing called <b>Installed products</b> , do we have to specify our software product here ?? , what is the significance of the step ??

Hi,

Significance is -- Say you have a system. Software will be installed in that system? Right.. So you need to specify which product is installed in that system.

Secondly if you specify the product then in XI Integration Directory configuration if u create any configuration objects wherein the business system is involved u will automatically get the list of interfaces when u do F4 help.

Hi,

Yes, you have to give the product in the technical system and give the technical system in bussiness system.
